यूरोपीय संघ (European Union – EU) :
परिचय
यूरोपीय संघ दुनिया का सबसे बड़ा राजनीतिक और आर्थिक संगठन है।
यह 27 यूरोपीय देशों का समूह है (2020 में ब्रिटेन के निकलने के बाद)।
इसका मुख्य उद्देश्य है –
आर्थिक सहयोग,
राजनीतिक एकता,
शांति बनाए रखना और
वैश्विक स्तर पर यूरोप की भूमिका को मजबूत करना।
गठन और विकास
1. 1951 – यूरोपीय कोयला और इस्पात समुदाय (ECSC)
छह देशों (फ्रांस, जर्मनी, इटली, बेल्जियम, नीदरलैंड, लक्ज़मबर्ग) ने मिलकर बनाया।
2. 1957 – रोम संधि (Treaty of Rome)
यूरोपीय आर्थिक समुदाय (EEC) की स्थापना।
व्यापार और आर्थिक सहयोग पर बल।
3. 1993 – मास्ट्रिख़ संधि (Maastricht Treaty)
“यूरोपीय संघ” नाम की आधिकारिक स्थापना।
इसमें राजनीतिक और मौद्रिक (Monetary) एकता जोड़ी गई।
4. 2002 – यूरो मुद्रा का प्रचलन
27 में से 19 देशों ने “यूरो (€)” को अपनी आधिकारिक मुद्रा बनाया।
संरचना और संस्थाएँ
यूरोपीय संघ की मुख्य संस्थाएँ –
1. यूरोपीय परिषद (European Council) – नीतियाँ तय करती है।
2. यूरोपीय संसद (European Parliament) – कानून बनाती है और बजट तय करती है।
